If you are a new patient, and or you have new insurance, please call the front desk to verify your insurance. It may take us longer than 24 hours to verify the insurance but we do try to get to it as quickly as possible. Ultimately patients are responsible to know and understand your individual insurance plans. Your insurance plan is a contract between you and your insurance company; It is your responsibility to know your coverage. You are required to provide correct and updated information regarding your insurance. We cannot guarantee your insurance benefits or the information your insurance company provides. You are responsible for the payment of co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles and all other procedures or treatment not covered by your insurance plan. You are ultimately responsible for the payment of provided care and treatment.

Please note that our clinic does not work with Cigna health insurance plans. Not all of our providers accept all insurance types. When booking please choose the insurance type you are looking for if they are specified.

If this seems overwhelming, we work with a discount medical plan (CHUSA) for this reason.

KAISER / CHP MASSAGE PATIENTS: When booking a massage with Kaiser / CHP insurance please choose the Kasier / CHP massage type. You may have to scroll down the list a little bit to find it. When you select this type it will show you all of the providers who take this insurance type. We have a limited number of providers who take this insurance, and we want to be sure that you are able to get a massage with someone who does take your insurance so that there are no surprises on day of service.

For Chiropractic our clinic is currently working with Providence, Regence/Blue Cross, Moda, and Pacific Source. Our clinic is currently not taking any new Chiropractic patients for CHP/ Kaiser, UHC, Aetna, and Cigna. If you have questions regarding whether we accept your insurance, please call or text us at 503-281-0681

Acupuncture primarily involves the use of very fine needles to manipulate the bodies circulatory system, nervous system and fascial layers to regenerate quickly. Acupuncture assists in helping the body through acute injuries, chronic recovery for pain conditions, as well as a host of bodily complaints. Many patients have sought out the use of acupuncture for internal medicine as well as musculoskeletal disorders.

Picture this: When you get a sliver, your body has the innate ability to eventually push it out on its own. This sliver has elicited a similar reaction that acupuncturists are triggering with their needles. Needles are inserted in specific points that create micro tears to signal the body to send receptors to that area thus creating a circulatory healing effect.

Some examples of what acupuncture treats are as follows:

Pain relief (chronic or acute)
Auto Injury
Sports Injury
Osteoarthritis
Neck Pain
Low Back Pain
Sciatica
Headaches / Migraines
Reproductive Health
Perinatal Care
Labor Stimulation
And more! Have questions? Want to know if acupuncture may be right for you? Schedule a “new patient visit” with one of our acupuncturist and get more information! Schedule through our Website, or reach out though any contact method found on our contact page.

Here at Zen Space Wellness and Cupping Studio we have the most experienced cupping practitioners in the state! Additionally our practitioners are trained in house, to ensure a cohesive experience.

We refer to cupping as a reverse deep tissue/massage with lymphatic drainage effects! We use a suction device to expand the tissue and create space for circulation and blood flow. It creates a controlled inflammatory response to specific areas that need special attention. Cupping can help with everything from muscle tension to sports injury, cold/flu, immune boosting, detoxification of tissue, migraines, etc. Basically anything related to the circulatory system, musculoskeletal system and immune system!

What exactly does cupping do? I am glad you asked. Cupping helps to increase circulation, and lubricate the tissue. It helps to break up scar tissue and adhesions that form in the muscle fibers and cause tension, thus relieving pain and tension. It helps to move the lymph and stimulate the immune system. And it detoxifies the tissue by pulling lactic acid and toxins out of the muscle layer and redistributing it into the blood stream so that it can be eliminated from the body through your natural detox pathways of your liver and kidneys.

We also offer facial cupping sessions. Facial cupping is a different from cupping on the body, as it is much gentler and should not leave marks. This treatment is great for relaxation, decreasing puffiness of the face, boosting collagen production, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Below is a break down of the different forms of cupping that we offer:

Fire Cupping
Korean Suction Cupping
Silicone Cupping (lymphatic drainage)
